This Solanum Pyracanthum also known as porcupine tomato has survived its first two frosts as if its spines made it hardier. I bought this tough looking fellow on a whim from the fantastic Red Butte Garden plant sale this spring and will most definitely find a place in the garden for a few more when the time comes.
